HENRY & CO., contributed to the development of the TAAAC module, created with the goal of demonstrating the potential of natural materials in the home environment. TAAAC is ideal as both a bathroom and kitchen unit, and is made entirely from eco-sustainable materials. The hemp panels alternate with other shelves made from recycled materials, such as electrical cables and other quartz processing scraps.
The knobs, 3D printed, are made of hemp plastic and coconut fiber. The induction hob, on the other hand, boasts an Italian patent of the latest generation for low-temperature cooking.
The module was exhibited at the Salone Satellite 2016 in Milan during Design Week, attracting considerable interest among industry professionals.
Greentech works by producing ecological materials that are fire and water resistant, insulating, ideal for anti-seismic constructions, all in the context of total sustainability.
The company has been working in a green mode since 2008, with the objective of creating entirely ecological materials and production processes. Using a binder based on royal jelly and a material easy to produce like hemp, panels have been created from natural raw materials and industrial waste.
A very common combination used for the panels is a mix of hemp and clay, another material historically used in construction that adds further positive specifications to the Greentech panels.
