With the goal of reusing Venetian Briccola wood, Icons Furniture contacted HENRY & CO. to challenge them to design iconic and timeless furniture pieces.
HENRY & CO. then presented three different concepts.

The famous mathematical law theorized by Fibonacci (hence the name) is the source of inspiration for this designed bookshelf for Icons Furniture. By observing the arrangement of the vertical and horizontal shelves, the famous mathematical ratio summarized by Fibonacci can be found. The materials that compose it are painted iron for the structure and Venetian Briccola wood for the shelves.

The characteristic imperfections of Venetian Briccola wood make it one of the most sought after woods in the world. The Triangola table, designed for Icons Furniture, aims to evoke the history and origin of the material through the shape of the legs and their iron joint. The side cut gives new dynamism to an everyday object.

The transition between classical and modern style is always sharp and conflicting. Rebirth, designed for Icons Furniture, reinterprets the lines of a classic table in a modern key, combining two otherwise disconnected worlds. The tabletop is made of Venetian Briccola wood while its faceted legs are made of painted iron.
