Sunday, April 22nd marked the conclusion of the Milan Design Week 2018, a week of events dedicated to design furniture with staggering numbers, over 430,000 attendees at the Salone del Mobile alone. Henry&Co. played a starring role by showcasing in 3 different locations between Salone and Fuorisalone.
At the fair, the studio, which oversees the artistic direction of the historic bathroom accessories brand Lineabeta, curated the design of new products presented during the event, as well as the booth, with hand-drawn illustrations by art director Antonella Manenti. In Pavilion 6, Henry&Co. was present at the stand of Malina, a well-known seating company from Friuli, showcasing two new products: Maria and Marianna. These two chairs, designed for the American market, feature an innovative use of a new eco-friendly material for the sector: hemp fabric. The studio also conceptualized the number “45”, created with components from the seating designs, celebrating the company’s 45 years of activity.
At the Fuorisalone, Henry&Co. was present at Cascina Cuccagna for the event Terra Migaki with “Ondo”, a project that won the competition in 2016, now presented in its innovative version created in collaboration with Asahi, the renowned Japanese beer brand.
